Our activity center is set in a historic building in Old Sacramento right next to the California State Railroad Museum. The activity center runs just like a restaurant. Come in, select a table, and choose from a menu of educational activities for children. You can build a birdhouse, create a rock collection, or use our paints and materials to create your own work of art. With a little advance notice before your party, we can even help you customize your own special project for a group of up to twenty such as a planting, gardening, or even a geocaching workshop. Pricing: You can reserve our twenty-seat activity center in Old Sacramento exclusively for a birthday party or private function with a $200 material purchase. Alternatively, you can rent the workshop space at a rate of $40 per hour (minimum 2 hours). We have broadband wireless internet and LCD projection capabilities for field trips, classes, and other presentations. We can even Livestream a meeting, workshop, or party so that friends and family can watch the activities remotely. "Off menu" projects and activities must be pre-approved by Trailmix.Net to ensure that they meet our materials use and safety guidelines.
